Satiricus was all awash in nostalgia. He’s just listened to “The Talker of the Assembly House” saying he didn’t have to listen to nobody. He’d just disallowed what he considered an improper question from a fella who’d been caught on tape asking all sorts of improper questions. But the previous Talker said the present Talker should’ve allowed the question. The Talker replied, “It’s my prerogative!”
Satiricus, who was quite a hip hop lover back in the day, immediately remembered bad boy “Bobby Brown” and his hit single “My Prerogative”. Satiricus remembered how Bobby had fused hip-hop with dance pop and the urban contemporary sound of R&B. From the moment the new Talker had been nominated by the Pee an See, Satiricus just knew he was swinger!
The lyrics of Bobby’s masterpiece filtered through Satiricus’ mind…with some minor alterations to suit the present Talker’s gig.

Satiricus really admired the Talker. But he sadly noted Bobby Brown’s career ended in disgrace after he’d been arrested too many times for drug addiction and offences too many to count. He hoped the Talker’s career would end on a better note.
