Speaking to Guyana Times Sport Elliot stated, “my strategy for this meet is just to have fun, do the best that I can do but I’m not taking out the championship out of my head because it is still possible but it will be very hard but main strategy is just have fun”.
After the first leg at Jamwest in Jamaica, Elliot was in second place but mechanical problems with his Kawasaki ZX6R during the second leg at the Wallerfield Circuit in Trinidad and Tobago pushed him down the points standing.
Explaining the reason for change in fortunes, the rider said, “It was mostly because of my brakes, they gave out in Trinidad the day before and threw me off completely of the championship since I did not have any way of fixing in it at that time”.
Looking ahead, the racer has set his eyes on stint in Canada, revealing “I have been working out some stuff in Canada but it is not confirmed yet so probably in the next month or so we will confirm”.
The meet has already been dubbed as one of the biggest to hit these shores in the years gone and a team from the United States is also Expected to attend to challenge the Caribbean Riders.
Tickets for the event are $2000 for Adults and $1000 for Kids.
