Nabaclis man nabbed with gun, serial number filed-off
Intel operatives of the Guyana Police Force, along with ranks from ‘C’ Division, East Coast Demerara (ECD), conducted an operation on Tuesday at a house in Herod Street, Nabaclis, ECD which led to the discovery of one .38 revolver with its serial number filed off.

This led to the arrest of a Nabaclis resident.
The firearm was lodged and the suspect was placed in custody at the Cove and John Police Station pending further investigations.
This discovery came on the heels of the recovery of another unlicensed firearm a day earlier. Police said the firearm was found during an intelligence-led Police operation that was conducted in Second Street Campbellville, Georgetown.
They managed to recover an unlicensed .22 pistol without ammunition. The firearm was lodged at the Kitty Police Station and the suspect placed in custody pending charges. (G9)
