NCN joins IMC Over-40s World Cup as Diamond Sponsor, national media partner

The National Communications Network (NCN) has joined the 2026 IMC Over-40s Cricket World Cup as a Diamond Sponsor and national media partner, strengthening the tournament’s broadcast and production plans ahead of its October 17 start in Guyana.
The Caribbean West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) announced that NCN will serve as the tournament’s national production, broadcast, livestream, radio and media partner for selected matches, ceremonies, events and promotional activities.

The partnership is expected to expand the reach of the World Cup across Guyana, the Caribbean and international markets, with NCN providing television production, broadcast crews, camera resources, national television and radio distribution, promotional support and clean feeds for the tournament’s wider streaming network.
The arrangement was finalised during a meeting at NCN’s Homestretch Avenue offices involving NCN Chief Executive Officer Neaz Subhan and members of his technical team, along with CWIMA Tournament Director Raj Singh and Media/IT/Marketing Officer Roy Singh.
Under the partnership, matches are expected to be carried locally on NCN Channels 11 and 33, while tournament coverage and commercial opportunities could also receive wider exposure through international distribution partners.
Those partners include Flow Sports, Rush Live & Louder Sports and the World Cup’s live-streaming platforms, providing participating countries and sponsors with an opportunity to reach audiences beyond Guyana.
CWIMA and NCN are also working together on commentary access, production accreditation and sponsor integration as organisers seek to establish a professional, Guyanese-led production capable of being distributed throughout the Caribbean and internationally.
A major objective is to make all 72 matches at the World Cup accessible to cricket supporters.
“NCN is not simply placing its name behind this tournament; it is helping us deliver it to the public,” CWIMA Secretary Roy Singh said.
He added that NCN’s production capabilities, national reach and willingness to work with international distribution partners will provide the tournament with a larger platform while giving sponsors increased exposure.
The IMC Over-40s Cricket World Cup will bring together 16 international teams for 72 matches across Guyana from October 17 to November 1.
