The winner of this zone will complete the lineup for the grand finals scheduled for October 11 at the Anna Regina National Stadium.
Action at Enmore begins at 10:00h with the first semi-final pitting giant killers Pure Entertainment against SVC/AJM CC, followed by the second semi-final at 12:00h featuring Team Corruption and Avinash All-Stars.
An exhibition clash between East Coast PYO and GLC All-Stars is scheduled for 14:00h before the zone final takes centre stage at 15:30h.
The zone winner will walk away with $500,000 courtesy of Navin and Sons Construction, while the runner-up pockets $200,000 in the compliments of Camille’s Academy.
The two losing semi-finalists will receive $50,000 each from OGN, adding to the $25,000 awarded to Saturday’s losing quarter-finalists by Scoop Ride Inc.
Pure Entertainment earned their semi-final spot with a comfortable chase against defending champions Titans Rams in Match One of the quarter-finals.
Titans Rams were bowled out for 106 in 9.5 overs, a total Pure Entertainment erased in just 8.3 overs, finishing on 106 for three.
In Match Two, SVC/AJM CC defended 92 for eight to beat Diamond Gunners by 26 runs. Kemol Savoury led SVC/AJM CC with a top score of 41, supported by Jonte Thomas (27) and Jonathan Fernandes (17), despite Mavendra Dindyal’s figures of three for 11.
Diamond Gunners were then restricted to 66 for five in their 10 overs as Keyon Sinclair turned in a match-winning spell of three for six, receiving tight support from Nial Smith (one for 11) and Ojay Shields (one for 27).
Match Three saw Team Corruption pull off a seven-wicket victory over Better Hope with nine balls to spare. Better Hope posted 112 for six in 10 overs, led by Moin Persaud’s 56, but an unbeaten 58 from Treatlon Liverpool and 21 from Dejourn Charles carried Team Corruption to 116 for three in 8.3 overs.
In the final fixture, Avinash All-Stars delivered a powerhouse batting performance, posting 149 for eight in 10 overs thanks to explosive knocks from Kadeem Alleyne (47) and Ronaldo Alimohamed (44).
Alimohamed then returned with the ball to claim one for three, alongside Kyle Mayers’ one for 16, restricting Housing Warriors to 63 for four to complete an 86-run win.
