The Narine and Sukhu families of Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) are rejoicing after they received Christmas babies.

Both families expressed their excitement and gratitude to the Almighty for giving them babies for the season. According to one of the mothers, Anita Sukhu, she did not expect a Christmas baby and she thanked God for her safe delivery. She delivered her second child on Christmas Day at around 14:30h and was very elated having delivered a bouncing baby girl.
Meanwhile, Jason and Venita Narine were overjoyed about their Christmas baby. Both parents were smiling throughout the interview. This is their second child as well. Additionally, Sherine Richards also from the Essequibo Coast, welcomed a baby boy for the season. (Indrawattie Natram)
