Rutherford, Hosein, Smith, Powell selected for Pakistan Super League
Sherfane Rutherford, Akeal Hosein, Odean Smith and Rovman Powell are the four West Indian players who have been selected to participate in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for 2023. The PSL will take place between February 9 and March 19, 2023.
Player retentions have been announced on November 11, and the PSL draft occurred on Thursday, December 15. Rutherford has become a familiar face in the PSL as he plies his trade for Peshawar Zalmi. The Guyanese had been retained ahead of Thursday’s draft, while his fellow West Indians Hosein, Smith and Powell were snapped up at the draft.
