Having crushed Carmel Secondary in a 5-nil drubbing in their opening match of this year’s Petra- organised Milo Schools’ Under-18 Football tournament, Sir Leon’s Lesson are now set to oppose Brickdam Secondary, and would want to continue their winning ways when play gets underway from 14:00h today at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue in the northern outskirts of Georgetown.

Also in the thick of the action today would be the Richard Ishmael Secondary School, who will play Carmel Secondary from 15:30 hrs. The earlier matches pit South Ruimveldt Secondary against Cummings Lodge Secondary from 12:30 hrs, and Christ Church Secondary against Queenstown Secondary from 11:00 hrs.

North Georgetown Secondary will, on Sunday, oppose School of the Nations from 11:00hrs, and this encounter will be followed by Dolphin Secondary opposing Central High from 12:30hrs. Mae’s Secondary will then lock horns with Tutorial High from 14:00hrs, after which Queen’s College will come up against St. George’s High in a humdinger that is slated to commence at 15:30hrs.

Thirty-two secondary schools are competing for the $500,000 first prize; while second, third and fourth placed finishers will pocket $300,000, $200,000 and $100,000 respectively – money that will go towards a school project.
