Superbet Guyana has renewed its partnership as a primary sponsor of the One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast ahead of the tournament’s fourth edition, providing another major boost for grassroots cricket in Guyana.

In a statement, Superbet said the decision to continue its involvement was aimed at rewarding loyal customers while also contributing to the development of sport across Guyana. The company noted that the partnership has produced consistent success and expressed pride in supporting a tournament that has become popular among cricket fans nationwide.
Tournament Director John Ramsingh welcomed the continued backing from the betting company, describing the renewed sponsorship as another sign of the competition’s growing impact on local cricket.
“Having a partner like Superbet return for a fourth year is a testament to the impact this tournament has made on the local landscape. Their commitment allows us to dream bigger and provide a professional platform for tapeball cricketers who are often the heartbeat of our communities,” Ramsingh said.
The 2026 edition will feature a revised registration process and a phased approach to squad submissions. Team captains can immediately secure places in the tournament with a G$35,000 entry fee and finalise player selections closer to their zonal start dates.
Registration forms are available through the tournament’s social media pages and via WhatsApp at +592-635-2235.
Organisers have also announced increased financial incentives for teams and players this season. Every team reaching the quarter-final stage within their zone will receive prize money, beginning at $25,000 for losing quarter-finalists. Zonal champions will earn $500,000 and advance to the National Finals.
At the national stage, the winning team will collect a $2,000,000 grand prize, while the runner-up is set to receive $1,000,000.
The four national finalists will also qualify to represent Guyana at the Global T10 Tapeball Blast.
Individual awards have also been expanded. The tournament’s Most Valuable Player will receive $150,000 and a motorbike, while the leading run-scorer and top wicket-taker will each collect $100,000 and a television set.
The tournament schedule will begin with a 16-team Berbice leg from August 8 to 9 before moving to East Bank/West Demerara and Essequibo in the following weeks.
Organisers confirmed that the competition will pause during the Caribbean Premier League season to maximise fan engagement before resuming with the Georgetown/East Coast Demerara leg.
The tournament will conclude with the National Grand Finale on October 11 at the Anna Regina National Stadium in Region Two, marking the first time the venue will host the championship decider.
