While the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has not yet declared the official results of the 2025 General and Regional Elections, the incumbent Peoples Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) is currently leading the polls in at least seven of the ten administrative regions in the country.

As the counting and tabulation of the votes continue, Guyana Times has been able to ascertain that the PPP/C has taken the lead in Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9.
This is based on the Statements of Poll (SOPs) so far released on GECOM’s website; 96% of all the SOPs have been published.
The PPP/C ran an election campaign based on track record and the delivery of promises kept to the electorate.
