5 workers test positive for COVID-19 at New Amsterdam’s NIS office

The operations of the New Amsterdam branch of the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) have been temporarily suspended for the remainder of the week.
According to NIS, five employees at the regional office were tested positive for COVID-19 while others are still being screened.

In light of this situation, the management of the NIS made a decision to temporarily suspend all services with the exception of the distribution of pension books, which will continue throughout the week.
