The Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) continued their Rugby 12s programme on Sunday at the National Park. This time around, it was the Guyana Police Force who were in the winners’ circle.
The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Rugby team suffered their second consecutive defeat in as many weeks, this time at the hands of the Guyana Police Force Falcons.

The all-officers battle ended in carnage as Falcons won 48-12.
Falcons’ Shawn David had the first try of the game, which was converted by Theodore Henry.
However, GDF fought back with a try from Avery Corbin and conversion off the boots of Kevin Wills.
To stay ahead in the encounter, Adrian Hall and Lionel Holder had back-to-back tries for the Falcons. However, only one was successfully converted, resulting in a 19-7 score at halftime.
In the second segment, GDF roared back with a try compliments of Jonathan David, pushing their tally to 12.
