Residents of Kuru Kururu, Linden-Soesdyke Highway are currently finalising plans to host the community’s first Business Expo, aimed at not only improving the market for local products and services, but also sensitising the public.
Kuru Kururu Small Business Association President and leader of the organising committee, Sasha Morrison, told Guyana Times on Wednesday that the exciting event was set for August 25, but they were yet to solicit support from Government Ministries.
Although the venue has not yet been confirmed, Morrison said that the one-day expo would not be limited to the community members only, but would be open to neighbouring villages such as Soesdyke, Timehri, and other villages along the Linden-Soesdyke Highway.
Food, salon, and several other businesses will be marketed at the event, which is
