The Round of 16 phase of the Stars Among Stars Futsal Competition commenced in emphatic fashion on Wednesday evening at the National Gymnasium, with Bent Street B, Back Circle, Bent Street and Sparta all advancing to the quarter-final stage following dominant victories.
Bent Street B produced one of the biggest wins of the night, thrashing Leopold Street 8-2 to comfortably secure their place in the next round.
Back Circle was equally ruthless in their encounter, dismantling Kingston 8-1 in a one-sided affair to move into the quarter-finals.
Bent Street also enjoyed a commanding outing, blanking Laing Avenue 6-0 in another comprehensive display.
Meanwhile, Sparta completed the list of advancing teams after defeating East Coast All-Stars 5-2.
The tournament is set to continue at the National Gymnasium with the remaining Round of 16 fixtures as teams battle for spots in the quarter-final round.
