Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) ranks intercepted a car along the Lusignan Prison road, East Coast Demerara (ECD) with a large quantity of cannabis.
The cannabis that was unearthed by CANU
On Wednesday evening, CANU said that about 14:05h, ranks of the Unit stopped and search the occupants and the car, and unearthed 33.2 kg (73 lbs) of cannabis. The two persons who were in the car were arrested and taken to CANU headquarters. An investigation has been launched.
