Caricom horse racing shifted to Bush Lot United

Horse racing organisers in Guyana have finalised the decision to move the Caricom Cup from Port Mourant Turf Club (PMTC) to Bush Lot United Turf Club, West Coast Berbice (WCB) on Sunday, July 5.
This decision came after numerous cancellations at Port Mourant Turf Club, as a result of inclement weather.
“To ensure that the Caricom Cup 2026 proceeds as scheduled and to avoid any possibility of cancellation or postponement due to recent weather conditions, the venue has been changed,” the organisers noted.
This proactive decision was made in the best interest of horsemen, patrons, sponsors, and all stakeholders to ensure a safe track and an uninterrupted day of exciting horse-racing action.
