As a result of the collision, the driver of the lorry and another occupant, 64-year-old Debra Hackey, received injuries about their bodies, including their heads. They were taken to the Leonora Cottage Hospital, where the female occupant was treated and sent away while the driver of the motor lorry has been transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he has been admitted a patient for observation.
