GMR&SC’s Karting Revival ignites 555 Speedway

The track at the 555 Speedway came alive on Sunday afternoon as the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) hosted its Kart Revival, a vibrant reintroduction of go-karting onto the local racing scene.
While the event is based on the premise of introducing new racers to the sport in a controlled environment, seniors also got in on the karting action, with some of the usual suspects standing out.
In the newly-introduced Briggs and Stratton Cadet category, William Vieira took the top spot, followed closely by Asrudeen Mohamed and Nathan Seejatan in third place.

Slated for the Guyana National Stadium Tarmac, the Kart Klash will offer fans and supporters another exhilarating dose of action as young drivers step on to the racing scene, some for the first time.
