The Guyana Oil Company Limited (Guyoil) has reduced the prices of its products – gasoline, diesel and kerosene – in an effort to bring relief to customers in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Guyoil, in a statement, explained that Super 95 gasoline has been reduced from $165 per litre to $155; Gasoil has moved from $160 per litre to $145; Kerosene is now $90 per litre; while Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel has moved from $218 per litre to $175.
As a national entity, Guyoil is always committed to its strategic objective of being the price stabilizer for the nation. Though the company saw no reduction in acquisition cost, Guyoil said it is aware of the economic challenges being faced by customers and businesses as the nation continues to battle COVID-19.
The company hopes that the reduction will bring significant ease to is customers and assure the nation that they will continue to provide its product and services at competitive prices
