Mikes Pharmacy through its brand “Well Teen”, the UK’s number one teenager product, together with the Trophy Stall, Tropical Spring Waters and Nauth Motor Spares of Sheriff Street are the sponsors of a nationwide under 13 years cricket tournament which begins today at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground.
All matches, except the semi-finals, will be played at the DCC Ground on Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown. The semi-finals will be played at Albion in Berbice.
Today, the tournament starts with inaugural day/night champion Bel Air Rubis taking on Transport Sports Club from 16:00h.
After today, matches will be played also on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday of every week beginning at 17:00h. This tournament is made possible through the collaborative efforts of The Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association and The Demerara Cricket Club.
Matches are 25 overs a-side and will feature teams from Georgetown, East Coast Demerara, East Bank Demerara, West Demerara and a Select Berbice Team.

Players qualified to play must born on or after September 1, 2003. Balls and umpires will be provided by the sponsors.
