Kuru Kururu Football Club (FC) capped off a remarkable campaign over the July 11–12 weekend, defeating Timehri United FC to be crowned champions of the East Bank Football Association (EBFA) Under-13 Youth Ensemble Programme.
The victory marks a significant milestone for the club, which just one year ago endured a difficult 2025 campaign in the EBFA U13 and U15 Leagues, failing to register a win in either category. EBFA Coordinator Hodiah Garraway commended the team’s determination and commitment to development throughout the competition.
“I have seen strength and great development in the players. They came out and did their best, won all their games and stayed on top,” Garraway said.
