Lindener charged with various offences granted bail in the sum of $240,000

Twenty-two-year-old Seymour Junior Shepherd of Lot 146 Half Mile, Wismar, Linden was yesterday arraigned before Linden Magistrate Wanda Fortune on three charges – narcotics trafficking, grievous bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon.
Shepherd was arrested by Police on February 17 for the offence of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. It is alleged that he had 23 grams of cannabis in his possession at the time.
He was also charged for possession of an offensive weapon. It is alleged that he had a knife in his possession, and that he inflicted grievous bodily harm on Clemsford Bradford.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to those charges, and was placed on bail in the sum of 200,000 on the charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm; $40,000 bail on the charge of possession of narcotics, and was placed on self-bail for the charge of possession of an offensive weapon.
The cases have been adjourned to March 15.
