Massy Guyana donates essential supplies to support Venezuela’s humanitarian efforts

As donations continue to pour in to support Venezuelan families affected by the recent earthquakes, Massy Guyana donated a container filled with essential food and household supplies.
The donation was officially handed over to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) by Vice President and CFO/COO David Dharamraj and HR Manager Sarah Deokaran-Mustapha.
The items were received by the deputy Director General of the CDC, Lieutenant Colonel Mark Thomas, who welcomed the donation.
The contribution forms part of wider relief efforts to provide immediate assistance to vulnerable families as they recover from the impact of the disaster. The container includes essential food and household items intended to help meet urgent needs during this difficult period.

“We empathise with the people of Venezuela at this challenging time. At Massy, we believe that responsible business means standing with communities in moments of crisis,” David Dharamraj stated.
He added, “The earthquake has placed tremendous strain on families in Venezuela, and we are pleased to support the Civil Defence Commission’s efforts to ensure that essential supplies reach those who need them most. This donation reflects our deep commitment to care, community, and regional solidarity.”
The donation also underscores the importance of collaboration between the private sector and national disaster response agencies in mobilising timely humanitarian support for affected communities.
