Police Officers’ cricket team supports young cricketer Kevin Dey

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) Officers’ cricket team has extended its support to 13-year-old cricketer Kevin Dey by presenting him with a cricket kit to assist with his continued development in the sport.
The presentation was made by Deputy Commissioner (Administration) Ravindradat Budhram, who is also Chairman of the GPF Cricket Club and Captain of the Officers’ team.
Dey, an all-rounder attached to Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC), is a student of Diamond Secondary School and the son of a serving Police Sergeant.
The gesture is expected to provide further encouragement to the young cricketer as he continues to develop his skills and pursue his ambitions in the sport.
Dey was also encouraged to remain disciplined and focused on both his education and cricket while making the most of the opportunities available to him.
The initiative highlights the continued role of members of the GPF in supporting the development of young sporting talent, while encouraging youths to balance their sporting aspirations with their academic responsibilities.
