Seven Seas, Vigorton back Guyana’s Caribbean archery championships

Seven Seas and Vigorton have partnered with Archery Guyana to support the inaugural Caribbean Archery Championships and eighth Caribbean Developmental Championship, scheduled for October 22–25, 2026, at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.
The sponsorship brings together a returning supporter and a new partner as Guyana prepares to welcome archers and officials from across the Caribbean and beyond. Seven Seas has supported Archery Guyana since 2019, while Vigorton is sponsoring the organisation for the first time. Both brands are distributed by Massy Distribution (Guyana) Inc.
Archery Guyana President Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon received the sponsorship at Massy Distribution’s head office at Montrose, East Coast Demerara. Representing the company were Neelam Dharmo, Manager of its Health + Beauty Division; Dileya Deonarine, Brand Specialist for Seven Seas; and Danielle Barkoye, Brand Specialist for Vigorton.

Persaud-McKinnon welcomed the contribution, saying it would help the organisation provide opportunities for athletes and demonstrate Guyana’s capacity to stage international archery competitions.
“We are grateful to Massy Distribution, Seven Seas and Vigorton for supporting Archery Guyana at such an important time. Seven Seas has been a valued partner over the years, and we are delighted to welcome Vigorton as a sponsor for the first time,” she said.
Guyana secured the hosting rights ahead of Jamaica. The championships will bring together archers, coaches, judges, officials and representatives, while allowing Guyanese competitors to test themselves against overseas opposition on home soil.
“This support will assist us in creating opportunities for our athletes while showcasing Guyana’s ability to successfully host international archery events. We look forward to welcoming the region to Guyana in October,” Persaud-McKinnon added.
The relationship between Seven Seas and Archery Guyana has been built around shared values of focus, discipline, precision and concentration.
Seven Seas offers Omega-3 nutrition products, including cod liver oil, supplements and its JointCare range, marketed to support health and active living. Vigorton provides vitamin and mineral supplements intended to complement everyday nutrition and support general wellbeing.
The two brands’ backing comes as Archery Guyana prepares for a major event on its calendar, with both championships taking place over four days at Providence.
