Softball action returns to Everest and MSC today

After a brief break for various reasons, the Back to Eden, Permaul Trading, Khan’s Trading and Trophy Stall- sponsored softball tournament will resume today, Sunday September 13, 2018, with two matches being played at the Malteenoes Sports Club ground on Thomas Lands, and the two other matches at the iconic Everest Cricket Club on Carifesta Avenue in the open and masters category.
The first match at Everest Cricket Club will see the Regal Masters battle it out with Success Masters at 10:00am. The second match will then follow, with Regal Masters taking on Tropical Springs at 13:00h. The last two matches of the competition will see Beach Night clashing with Success at 10:00am, and Spikeland Challengers in the penultimate match of the day face off with S.V.C at 13:00h at the Malteenoes Sports Club ground.
The competition is organised by the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA), and also features teams in the Masters’ over-50 category and Female Open. The Format is round robin.
