Teen slapped with attempted murder charge

Caboral Bailey of Vergenogen, East Bank Essequibo was on Friday arraigned before Wales Magistrate Annette Singh on a charge alleging that he had attempted to kill Keon Farley.
It is alleged that on January 1, 2018, at Vergenogen, Bailey unlawfully and maliciously wounded Farley with intent to commit murder.
The 19-year-old Bailey, a vendor who plies his trade at the Parika Ferry Stelling, was not allowed to plead to the indictable charge, but Magistrate Singh placed him on $200,000 bail on condition that he reports to the Leonora Police Station twice per week.
