TOPP XX, Capital FC in winner-takes-Top-Spot showdown

Football fans will converge tonight (Sunday) in a crowd-pulling match as the Linden Summer Super Cup football championship round robin group segment comes to an end with a double head at the Bayrock National Stadium.
The first game at 19:00h is between Group C’s Hi Stars and Net Rockers in a game which will wrap up group play, as PDey Stars and Aroiama are already through to the quarter-finals from that group.
The toss-up at 21:00h will feature group A’s Topp XX and Capital FC to decide the top qualifier, and a win by Capital FC will send them through as the best team from that group.
A win by Topp XX will see them ahead of Capital FC, who will also qualify from their group, because Coomacka, the other team, gave a walkover to Capital FC in their game but held Topp XX to a 0-0 draw.

Other teams already through are Group B’s Eagles United and Milerock, and from Group D, the two qualifiers Winners Connection and Botafogo played last night in their final group match to see which of the two will top their group heading into the quarter-finals.
