Trophy Stall expands support of Lotto/Let’s Bet One Guyana T10 Tapeball

Trophy Stall has reaffirmed its support for grassroots cricket in Guyana, expanding its partnership with the Lotto/Let’sBet One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast ahead of a high-stakes Essequibo zonal leg this weekend.
Long established as a cornerstone of local sports sponsorship, Trophy Stall will supply second-place trophies at every zonal stage, along with Player of the Match awards for both the zonal and national finals.
Having recently funded silverware for the female fixture in the Berbice zone final at Albion, proprietor Ramesh Sunich has deepened his involvement for the Essequibo leg at the Anna Regina National Stadium.
The business is donating playing kit, medals, and trophies for a marquee youth exhibition match featuring the county’s top young prospects.
“Grassroots and youth cricket represent the true foundation of Guyanese sport,” said Sunich.
“When young players get the opportunity to put on a uniform, step out on a venue like Anna Regina, and play for medals and trophies, it builds confidence and a passion for the game that lasts a lifetime. Trophy Stall will always stand beside efforts that uplift our rising stars.”
Speaking on behalf of tournament organisers FL Sport, John Ramsingh commended the company’s ongoing backing, describing their dedication to Guyanese sport as “unmatched” before presenting Sunich with a special plaque of appreciation.
The Essequibo leg serves as the third zonal stop on the circuit, following completed legs in Berbice and East Bank/West Demerara.
Sixteen teams will compete across four venues on Saturday, 22 August, with fixtures hosted at Pomona Ground, Affiance Community Ground, Hampton Court Ground, and Anna Regina National Stadium.
The tournament shifts exclusively to Anna Regina on Sunday, 23 August, featuring the semi-finals, the youth showcase between the Trophy Stall Jaguars and Trophy Stall Eagles, and the zonal final under lights at 20:00.
Beyond zonal glory, the winners will secure a spot in the National Finals on 11 October at Anna Regina, alongside a top cash prize of $500,000 courtesy of Shawn’s Mini Mart.
Additional backing from Jaigobin Hotel guarantees $200,000 for the runners-up and $50,000 for each losing semi-finalist, while Scoop Ride Inc. will distribute $25,000 to every team departing at the quarter-final stage.
Admission remains free across all grounds over both days, with community entertainment planned throughout the weekend.
Following Sunday’s final, the tournament will take a scheduled break during the closing stages of the Caribbean Premier League, before resuming on 26 September for the Georgetown/East Coast Demerara Zone.
