The third place play-off in the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA)/Well Teen/Nauth Motor Spares/Tropical Spring U13 tourney between Transport and DCC is set for Friday October 28 under lights.
Transport and hosts, Demerara Cricket Club will do battle at the DCC Ground, Queenstown from 18:00h. Heading into the match, DCC will favor their chances as they will bank on the most successful bowler of the tournament; Romeo Deonarain who has captured 11 wickets to date.
TSC will also be heading into the match with some confidence with Shamar Yearwood being number three on the list of most successful batsman with 94 runs. Yearwood also tops the list of best fielders with nine dismissals to date.
Meanwhile, final between Blairmont and Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) is set for 11:45h on Sunday, November 5 as part of the annual Guyana Softball Cup which is set for the DCC Ground.
