Victory Valley man remanded on narco-trafficking charge

Dennis Bewster, 58, of Victory Valley, Wismar, Linden, was on Monday remanded to prison by Magistrate Wanda Fortune when he appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court on a narco-trafficking charge.

Police stated that on Saturday, December 5, 2020, Bewster had 12,247 grams (12.247 kilograms) of cannabis in his possession for the purpose of trafficking.
During his court appearance on Monday, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded to prison until January 11, 2021.
