Two men, who allegedly attempted to murder a Meten-Meer-Zorg, West Coast Demerara (WCD) labourer were on Tuesday charged and brought before a Judge at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court.
The duo – 21-year-old Robindra Parahoo, called “Robin”; and 23-year-old Annacha Parahoo, both of Lot 108 Ocean Gardens, Meten-Meer-Zorg, WCD – denied the allegation when the charge was read to them.
They denied that on February 27, 2019 at Ocean Garden, Meten-Meer-Zorg, they attempted to murder 48-year-old Terry Persaud.
Both men were released on $200,000 bail and the case will continue on April 4. As a condition to bail, the suspects were ordered to report to the Leonora Police Station every Friday until the completion of the matter.
