Western Tigers built a commanding 5–0 half-time lead and added three more goals after the break, despite losing Cecil Jackman to a red card in the 66th minute.
Hakeem Legall opened the scoring in the 12th minute before an own goal by Monedderlust’s Dane Johnson doubled the advantage four minutes later. Woodley scored his first in the 22nd minute, with Michael Junior Oie adding another in the 38th.
Woodley struck again in the 40th minute to complete a difficult first half for Monedderlust, who were unable to contain the Tigers’ attack.
Jackman’s dismissal reduced Western Tigers to ten men, but they continued to extend their lead. Woodley completed his hat-trick in the 79th minute before Shem Julius James scored in the 83rd. Substitute Darius Chester, introduced five minutes earlier, made it 8–0 in the 85th minute.
Rayon Rose scored Monedderlust’s consolation goal in the 90th minute.
In the other encounter, halftime substitute Yusifu Kargbo netted twice to help Slingerz secure a 5–2 victory over Fruta Conquerors.
Kemar Beckford gave Slingerz the lead in the 36th minute, providing the only goal of the first half. Kargbo entered at the start of the second half and quickly made his mark, scoring in the 54th and 63rd minutes.
Darron Niles extended the advantage to 4–0 in the 70th minute before Fruta responded with two goals in quick succession.
Jamal Codrington converted a penalty in the 77th minute, and substitute Antwone Denny scored in the 80th to reduce the deficit to 4–2.
