The day’s activity was spearheaded by GRFU Senior Vice-President Joshua Griffith, who was accompanied by National Selector and Coach, Laurence Adonis.
Griffith and Adonis spoke with approximately 50 youths (male and female) who are eager to learn the sport.![](https://guyanatimesgy.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Dey-300x146.jpg)
Three rugby balls were donated to the school, and training is scheduled to commence next week.
The students were also told of national players who had attended Christ Church Secondary: Godfrey Edward Broomes, Lancelot Adonis, and the late Gordon ‘Bolo’ Andrews. National women’s player Nicole Nero is also a teacher at the school.
