Inter-Ministries and Government agencies 7-a-side tape ball tourney on this Sunday

Last Friday, Home Affairs Minister Robeson Benn handed over the trophy and medals to sports coordinator James Lewis for the “Christmas feelings” Inter Ministries and Government agencies 7-a-side tape ball tournament.

This tournament will be played on Sunday, December 6th 2020 on the Durban Park Tarmac from 9:30hrs, and all the guidelines of the COVID- 19 Task Force would be strictly enforced. The competition would be a 4 overs-per-side knockout affair, the winner of which will take home the Minister of Home Affairs Trophy with medals and $75,000 cash, while the runner-up team would pocket $40,000 in cash.
So far, teams participating are: Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, Office of the President, GuyOil, Guyana Forestry Commission, GPHC, Ministry of Natural Resources, MARAD, EPA, GCAA, CJIA, Ministry of Public Service, Ministry of Finance, Guyana Police Force, Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, GRA, and Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
