Four horses will be running in the feature race today, Sunday, May 3.

Slingerz Racing Stables will be hoping to upset JS at the feature race today

Another exciting race will be the Arrival Day sprint, which will be open to all three-year-old and older horses and will be running at five furlongs. The three-year-old imported opener will run at six furlongs.
Other races on the card include the F Class and Lower, a three-year-old Guyana-bred open million-dollar mile; G Class and Lower West Indian-bred non-winners since August 2024; three-year-old and over West Indian-bred winners; I Class and Lower; L Class winners; and K & L Maidens open to Guyana-bred first-time starters.
There will also be a Grooms Derby, open to all ages.
This race meet will be of great importance, as most of the horses have had a break from racing. All the lengthy preparations will be tested at Kennard’s Memorial as the historic day for the Guyana Cup approaches.
Additionally, this is the second nomination race day for the Guyana Cup, which is set for August 23 at a venue to be announced.
