The Police have arrested two men in connection with the discovery of a stolen motor blower at Number 54 Village, Corentyne, Berbice on Wednesday.
Police stated that the victim secured the motor blower in his premises and retired to bed about 18:00h on Tuesday. However, when he woke up the following morning, he discovered the machine missing.
A report was made and based on Police investigations, a 32-year-old man of Number 53 Village, Corentyne was arrested. During their interrogation of the suspect, Police received information and went to a rice mill where a search was conducted.
During the search, five motor blowers were found, with one being identified by the victim as his. As a result, the rice miller was detained for receiving stolen items. He was arrested and taken into custody, assisting with information.
