Savory joins Saint Lucia Kings for remainder of CPL

Guyanese wicketkeeper-batsman Kemol Savory has joined the Saint Lucia Kings for the remainder of the 2026 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season.
The Kings announced on September 4 that Savory was added to the squad as a replacement for Ackeem Auguste, who was ruled out of the tournament because of medical reasons.
Savory’s inclusion provides the franchise with another option in the batting department while also strengthening its wicketkeeping resources as the Kings continue their campaign.

The Guyanese cricketer brings useful experience to the squad and will be hoping to make an impact if given the opportunity during the remaining matches.
The franchise welcomed Savory to the team and said it was looking forward to his contribution both on and off the field.
Meanwhile, the Kings extended their best wishes to Auguste, and expressed hope that he would return to action after making a full recovery.
