Blairmont Blazers and Bush Lot United Sports Club recorded wins in the ongoing T&A Construction 100-ball tournament played across the West Coast Berbice (WCB).
At Bush Lot United Sports Ground, Sanko Super Kings went down to Blairmont Blazers by five wickets, while Bush Lot United got the better of Paradise Cricket Club by 78 runs.
Sanko Super Kings batted first and made 113 all out. Raymond Brathwaite scored 32, and Niched Campbell made 25.
Bowling for the Blairmont Blazers, Shabeer Baksh had four for 24, and Derrick Mccalmont claimed two for 22.
Blairmont Blazers replied with 114 for five, with Shakir Saffie scoring an unbeaten 32 and Daniel Milne scoring 27 not out to lead.
Bowling for Sanko Super Kings, Keith Fraser claimed two for 23, while Lakeram Chetram had two for 18 as Blazers claimed a five-wicket win.
In the other fixture at Bush Lot, the home team took first strike and posted 186-7 in their 100 balls. Justin Doobay blazed away with 60 while Joel Orlando Dilchand scored an unbeaten 47. Paradise replied with 108 all out to give Bush Lot United a comfortable 78-run win.
