Matches organised by the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) will continue this weekend.
The GCA launched three competitions for the year 2019; namely, The Gise/Star Party and Trophy Stall Competition; Noble House Seafood’s 2nd Division Competition; and the Noble House Next Gen Under-19 Competition.
Of the three competitions launched, the Noble House Next Gen Under-19 100 overs was held last weekend which saw Zone A and Zone B competing against each other.
However, this week will see the other two competitions starting with the Star Party Competition as Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) duke it out with the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) at Queenstown today.
On Sunday, the action will continue with Transport SC taking on GNIC in a thriller at Camp Ayanganna.
All matches are scheduled to commence at 09:30h on both days.
The Noble House Seafood’s 2nd Division 2-Day Cricket Competition will also commence over the weekend with a few tentative fixtures.
Sunday will see Transport SC taking on Third Class CC at the Muslim Youth Organisation Ground (MYO), while on Sunday, GNIC will attempt to overthrow Ace Warriors at GNIC.
All matches are scheduled to commence at 11:00h sharp on both days.
The New Building Society (NBS) Second Division 40-Over 2018/2019 season will continue on Sunday with one match as the inform Malteenoes SC will take on the UG Trojans at Malteenoes.
On Sunday, the Trojans will have another chance at battle when they face off against Everest at the Everest Ground.
All matches are scheduled to commence at 11:00h on both days.
